Belts are a recurring type of accessory in the series that promote physical stats, specially strength. They are very low in numbers throughout the series, and the most recurring belt is the Black Belt.

Final Fantasy VI

Belts appear in Final Fantasy VI as Relics. There are only two, though, and both promote physical stats: The Black Belt and the Muscle Belt.

Final Fantasy VII

The Champion Belt can be obtained in the Gold Saucer arena and promotes Strength.

Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-

The Muscle Belt, Champion Belt and Black Belt increase Zack's ATK and VIT.

Final Fantasy IX

Belt is a piece of clothing worn around the waist. All species can equip belts. Belts can be crafted, obtained as a reward, found as loot, and come in a variety of colors. Belts found as loot may have random modifiers similar to other equipment.
