Belle is a figure from Scrooge's past in The Muppet Christmas Carol. A friend of the Fozziwig family, Belle first meets the young Ebenezer at the annual Christmas party. The two fall in love and become engaged. However, the relationship is ruptured by Scrooge's increased focus on business, as the wedding date is continually put off. Belle leaves Scrooge, explaining her reasoning through the song "When Love Is Gone".

Belle is a Born Ghoul from the Reservation. She was the last ghoul to be successfully birthed, which was two years ago in 2251. Since then, no other Born Ghouls have been successfully conceived and birthed.
Belle is unusually attractive for a ghoul. In fact, if it weren't for her lesions and symmetrically exposed bone, she would look like a pretty, though pale, human. Even her hair is fairly full and long. And thanks to the Born Ghoul’s ability to rapidly grow into adulthood within a month, she is also very curvy and fit looking. Since Belle is such an interesting success in the procreation experiment, Dr. Sebastian keeps a close eye on Belle and interacts with her very frequently. However, Belle does roam around the town on a daily basis, causing the other male ghouls to almost lose their jaws as she walks by.
Belle is very approachable and will freely interact with the player. If the player is particularly homely (CHA < 4), she will aggressively flirt with the player, opening up opportunities for the player to shack up with Belle. Since Belle’s quarters are on Sub-Level 3, and since Willem Clark restricts all access to only those he visually approves, Belle will lead the player to one of the rooms on Sub-Level 1 (the occupants of the sleeping quarters freely give up their room for a Born Ghoul – it’s like a god to them). A particularly worthy performance by the PC (EN > 7) will get Belle to become completely enamored with the player and garner more information about Sub-Level 3.
Major side-effect from the player’s amorous affair with Belle – Belle becomes pregnant!
Belle did not appear nor was mentioned in any of the published games, but was to appear in the cancelled Fallout 3 project by Black Isle codenamed Van Buren. It is unlikely that she will appear in any future Fallout game.
Belle is a Selkie character from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. She seems to have some sort of romantic attachment to the hero, Layle. She appears to have an interest in photography and is never seen without her camera. While a thief, like most Selkies, Belle is an expert in intel. She is voiced by Chiaki Takahashi in the Japanese version and Laura Bailey in the English version.
Sneaking unto the ship Alexis, Belle ends up uncovering Jegran's well-kept secret which gets her marked as a wanted criminal by the Lility Kingdom. Saved by Layle, she decides to follow him and benefit from whatever fortune this venture produces. Though she originally intended to blackmail Jegran if he wished the film not to fall into the wrong hands, she reveals his nature as a Crystal Bearer to Althea as her way of avenging Vaigali. Later after the Yukes return to the world, Belle takes Keiss's airship to search for Layle, refusing to accept that he died and bent on getting what he owes her.

The Belle was a smuggling vessel.
The Belle once docked at the spaceport on Ord Zat, and became infested with rat roaches there. Two hyperspace jumps later, the ship began handling unusually. One of the ship's two operators began pulling down the ship's bulkheads, finally locating the rat roaches' nest; as soon as it was exposed to light, however, the creatures dug into the ship's conduits. It took the crewman and his partner seven hours to extract them with tongs and crush them with a hydrospanner. The creatures had devoured enough circuitry to have destroyed the Belle on its next jump to hyperspace.
About six seasons later, the smuggler who had located the nest was captured by Governor Wilek Nereus. The governor interrogated the man, and was about to order his termination when he brought up the topic of rat roaches. Nereus, who was fascinated by predators and parasites, was sufficiently entertained by this to postpone his order until after the smuggler finished his tale.
