Runescape

(Redirected to Fixed device article)

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

To hit a specific object, aim at the square it's on.

The Fixed device is a gnomic contraption, similar to a recoilless rifle, which is used in the Mourning's Ends Part I quest to shoot dye on Farmer Brumpty's sheep. It requires a Ranged level of 60 to wield. It uses dyed toads as ammo, which players make by filling Ogre bellows with any dye (except orange and purple), then using the bellows on a Swamp toad. Only one toad may be placed in the device at a time, and the device can only be wielded when filled with ammo. When equipped, it is held like a Bazooka and two-handed. Its only attack modes are "Aim and fire", which the player uses to fire the toads at the sheep, and "Kick" which, as its name implies, is a basic kicking attack.

After Mournings End Part I is complete, players can still use the Fixed device as usual, firing it at anyone and anything they wish. Players wishing to use this item for an extended amount of time can collect as many dyed toads as they want. It is also easier to use the device if a player has two of them: one to wield and one to keep in the inventory. This makes things easier because using a toad on the device in the player's inventory will also load the device on the player's shoulder, allowing it to be fired over and over without taking it off after each shot.

This item gives no Attack or Defence bonuses, so it can be brought to Entrana.

If lost, players can re-obtain a Broken device and ask the gnome to fix it. You will need more Leather, Toad Crunchies and another Magic log. He will still do this after the quest is complete.

Trivia

  • This, along with the Dwarf multicannon, hand cannon, and crossbow, is the closest thing to a modern weapon in RuneScape.
  • When fired onto a chasm or hole, the remains of the toad will 'float' on the surface.
  • There is a glitch when recharging summoning points at an obelisk the device would seem to be stuck to the player's shoulder's when both arms are up.
  • Players can obtain more than one Fixed device by performing the Drop trick to obtain more than one Broken device, then get each one fixed. Each Fixed device will share the same "ammunition" (so they stack in the bank) in a similar fashion to the Camulet and its shared teleport charges.

(Redirected to Missile launcher article)

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

A scout trooper using a missile launcher.

Portable, handheld missile launchers were common heavy assault weapons used by artillery divisions of many military forces.

A missile launcher.

They were necessary in various types of combat to destroy enemy vehicles, command stations, and eradicate large numbers of infantrymen. An example included the PLX-1 portable missile launcher. In many different armies, certain soldiers were especially trained to use missile launchers. These types of soldiers included Separatist assault droids, Clone heavy troopers, Rebel Vanguards, IG-100 MagnaGuards and Imperial shock troopers.

PTL missile launchers were used by pilots mainly within cruiser hangars to quickly wipe out penetrating starfighters that deployed foes.

(Redirected to Bazooka (BWN) article)

From Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki

This article is about Bazooka, the Beast Wars Neo Predacon. For the G.I. Joe, see Bazooka (G.I. Joe).
Bazooka is a Predacon from the Beast Wars Neo section of the Beast Era.

Bazooka could probably teach Dinobot a thing or two about honor. When Bazooka makes a promise he sees it through to the bitter end. And if the bitter end means a gruesome death then, well, hey, at least he kept his word. This ironclad sense of duty and dedication has made him one of Magmatron's most loyal and appreciated subjects, which is something Bazooka takes great pride in. Alas, Bazooka naively expects the same standards of dedication and honor from his fellow Predacons, which is a pretty foolish thing to believe, considering the company he keeps.

After Unicron's defeat at the hands of Big Convoy, the Maximals and the Predacons formed an alliance in order to rebuild the ravaged Cybertron.

Who brought the bazooka to the tea party?

As Big Convoy and Magmatron's forces had one last brawl for old times' sake behind them, Bazooka participated in a giant cross-faction party under beautiful cherry blossoms. He shared a drink (tea? sake? oil?) with Artemis, Moon, Crazybolt and Sharp Edge, while Apache and Cohrada slept peacefully nearby (possibly drunk).
