Battle Boots are a recurring accessory in the series, providing physical bonuses to the wearer. It is often found early in the game, though this is not always the case.




Final Fantasy IX

Battle Boots are acquired very late in the game, the first appearing as a steal from Garland, and later as a steal from Hades and Synthesis creations. It grants +2 Strength, +2 Defense, and +1 Magic Defense, as well as teaching the abilities Initiative, MP Attack, and HP +20%, and can be used by everyone in the game. It costs 6,500 gil to create, and requires a Feather Boot and Wing Edge to make. It can only be made in Daguerreo on discs 3 and 4.

Final Fantasy XI

Battle Boots appear as an armor in this game.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

Battle Boots are a mid-ranked accessory for Vaan, which teaches him the ability Pain Chain and allows for occasional chaining of attacks. It can only be bought for 1,600 gil in shops after clearing Chapter 3, or can be gotten during Mission 3-4.

Final Fantasy Tactics

Battle Boots are the weakest shoes in the game, which only grants Move +1. It is bought for 1,000 gil.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

Battle Boots yet again are the weakest shoes in the game, giving a mere +7 to Defense.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift

Once again, Battle Boots is the weakest shoes in the game, and again provides only +7 Defense.

Dissidia Final Fantasy

Battle Boots is a special accessory that increases Bravery on Quickmove by +2%.
