Bar-Element refers to a group of White Magic spells found in Final Fantasy XI. White Mages have access to the stronger versions, whilst Red Mages can learn the weaker versions, which affect only a single target. They are characterized by the prefix "Bar-" found at the start of each spell's name, and also by their shared effects of increasing the chance for party members to take no damage from elemental spells and decreased damage from elemental attacks.
