Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel location
Carbon Bar

inside: Carbon
Carbon Town Center
leaders: Armpit
The following is based on Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel and has not been confirmed by canon sources.

Carbon Bar is located in Carbon Town Center. The owner is Armpit. The custumers are usually drink and talk here. When the Initiate of Brotherhood of Steel came, he liberated the bar from a group of local raiders.

Later, Vault Dweller, Ruby and Armpit himself could be found here. The bar was burned down when raiders come again, this time to destroy the whole town, and it's owner dies near the door of his own place. Before the travel of the Initiate to Los, the carbon bar was partially rebuilt but was closed after the death of Armpit.

Appearances in games

Carbon Bar appears only in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.

"Come on in, then! Make yourself welcome."
—Tavernmaster

Taverns, also known as Bars, are special locations in every town or city in Ivalice in Final Fantasy Tactics. Like the Outfitters and Warriors' Guilds, it is a mere menu that cannot be explored. The bartender will give the player a series of options. It is here that the player can listen to Rumors, or run Errands after Chapter 1. The Rumors are based around the events of the game at the moment, and will change after storyline events pass. Errands can be played at any time. After the player returns from Eagrose Castle in Chapter 1, the tavern keeper will tell them about multiplayer content (War of the Lions only) such as Rendezvous Missions and Melee Combat.

This article is about metal bars made by smelting ore. For a place that sells drinks, see Bar (location).

A Bar is a metal item that has been refined from ore, but which has not yet been made into an item such as a Weapon or a piece of armour. Ores can be mined from mines found in various places around Gielinor. Then, the ore can be smelted into bars through the Smithing skill and can then be smithed into various items, mainly weapons and armour, through the Smithing skill. As the metal used in smithing require higher grade metals the more efficient and powerful the item will be.

Some bars must be smelt with coal (e.g. runite ore), while others only require the ore itself (e.g. gold ore). The Blast Furnace can assist in the process by allowing a player to smith bars requiring only half the coal needed. However, bars such as bronze bars require copper ore and tin ore to be smelt together.

There are some quest related metal bars, such as the Elemental bar and 'Perfect' gold bar. These bars require special conditions and materials to be made then usually made into something special for use during the quest.

Currently known Quests that require such special bars are:

A bar (also called a pub or tavern) is an establishment that serves beverages, usually alcoholic. A bar also refers to a long raised counter at which people cam place orders and staff collect served orders. The person who tends the bar is usually called a bartender and may also be the owner of the establishment. Many bars also serve food for their customers and include some type of entertainment from recorded or live music, gambling or stage performers. Crew lounges aboard Federation starships often took the form of bars.

From TibiaWiki

Most large towns will have a tavern. In some towns, they are very prominent, and are the center of the social life in a town. The dwarves in Kazordoon are well known for their beer and wine, and the tavern can be found right next to the depot, but the women in Carlin have outlawed the consumption of alcohol, and the only tavern in town is hiding in the sewers.

Many Food Shopkeeper NPCs can be found in a tavern selling a variety of liquids.
