From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

The Avatar of Destruction is one of the two avatars in the Soul Wars minigame. Both avatars have a Combat level of 525, making the two tie for the 8th strongest monsters in RuneScape. Along with having a maximum hit of nearly 50, the avatar can also drain a player's Prayer.

This avatar can be found on the red team's side of the battlefield. The required Slayer level needed to begin attacking this beast starts at 100 (meaning that no one can attack him), but as players add Soul fragments to the Soul Obelisk, the avatar's power will gradually diminish and this Slayer requirement will eventually reduce to 0.

When members of the red team bury the bones of their fallen comrades or slaughtered enemies in captured graveyards, they will have a chance of increasing their avatar's Slayer Level.

Habitat

Drops

  • The Avatar of Destruction does not drop any items. This is due to the fact that it is only found in the mini-game Soul Wars.

Trivia

  • The Avatar also resembles General Graardor, mostly in its body shape. As well, its melee attack uses the same animation General Graardor uses in his ranged attack (but it only targets 1 person).
  • A ruby enchanted bolt used on the avatar used to be able to hit for up to 200 damage, shattering the 150 damage hit on the steel titan's record of it being the highest hit on a non-quest-required monster to defeat (tied with the Avatar of Creation). A recent update has reduced the maximum damage caused by ruby (e) bolts to 70.
  • The Avatar's area seems to resemble the Wilderness, because of the black earth, burnt trees and the lava.
  • An interesting habit of the avatar, it lets loose a huge scream whenever it dies.
  • The avatar of Destruction has three faces: one on its head, one on its belt, and one on its right shoulder. The one on its right shoulder looks as if it's continuously moving as the Avatar's arm swings.
