History

Audrey Lee was the Chief of Police of Happy Harbor, Rhode Island and the mother of Bethany Lee. Audrey became embittered against her daughter when she decided to marry former JLA mascot Snapper Carr. Although Bethany and Snapper's marriage was brief, Audrey's enmity towards Snapper maintained for many months afterwards. When Bethany Lee turned up missing one evening, Audrey immediately suspected Snapper of foul play and had him arrested for Bethany's murder. As it turned out, Bethany was not only still alive, but she wasn't even missing. She had been accidentally turned into a toddler after being struck by the android Hourman's time-vision.
