From TARDIS Index File, the free Doctor Who reference.

Artemis was a Chronovore captured by Mortimus. Mortimus utilised the innate power that the Chronovore had to create an alternate universe in which the Doctor was killed by the Silurian Morka. He also used its power to engineer the resurrection of the Garvond, the empowerment of Huitzilin, and the restoration of the Land of Fiction. He also used its power to release the Vardans from their time loop. Artemis was imprisoned within his TARDIS and released by Ace. It departed Earth in 1976 in Mortemis' TARDIS with the aim of torturing him for keeping it prisoner. (NA: No Future)

Trivia

In mythology, even though Artemis is a greek goddess, she was born from Zeus and the titan known as Leto, making her the daughter of a titan.

Biography

Early life

Artemis Radcliff was born 0 ABY on Naboo. He wasn't discovered by the Jedi until 8 ABY when a Jedi from Yavin 4 was sent to recruit new Jedi from different worlds. Artemis's grandfather was a Jedi but Artemis never met him; he died during the clone wars when Darth Sidious called upon Order 66. He died in the Jedi Temple when overwhelmed by clonetroopers. His Father was force sensitive but was too old to start training. Artemis was sent to Yavin 4 to learn the ways of the Jedi. Artemis met Damian when Damian helped him construct his first lightsaber. It was a yellow lightsaber to symbolize his dedication to the path of the Jedi Guardian; Although he sometimes used his grandfather's blue lightsaber. He became a Jedi Knight in 14 ABY.

Disciples of Ragnos

In 14 ABY, When Tavion Axmis led the Disciples of Ragnos to Korriban Artemis entered the battle at the age of 14 alongside Damian. He then used his yellow lightsaber. During the battle Akari was captured by the Sith and Artemis and Damian set out to save him. Artemis witnessed Akari being taken aboard an imperial shuttle as a POW. During the battle they meet Cricket; Damian's long lost brother; and converted him to the light.

Luke Skywalker gave them permission to search for Akari.

Search for Akari (Naboo)

The Search for Akari lasted a year until Atremis got information from an assassin that Akari was on Naboo. Damian, Artemis, and Cricket headed to Naboo to find Remnants of the Disciples of Ragnos. After searching parts of Naboo they finally found their friend meditating in an open field. Akari threw off his black robes and revealed his twin red lightsabers along with the new Identity "Darth Akari". While Damian took the battle and Akari's hand, Artemis fought a group of Dark Jedi. He defeated them all suffering minor wounds. Artemis found Akari escaping in an Imperial shuttle and threw a tracking device on it that went to a human settlement (Settled by Czerka Corporation during the days of the old Republic) on Kashyyyk, but was later moved to the Forest moon of Endor

Search for Akari (Kashyyyk)

Artemis went to Kashyyyk, while Damian went to Endor to find Darth Akari. While on Kashyyyk Artemis traveled through the forest looking for the OldCzerka settlement. He found a dark Jedi destroying a Wookiee bridge. He engaged this dark Jedi in combat and bested him easily. As he traveled through the forest he found more dark Jedi scouts and destroyed them all. He finally reached the settlement that was inhabited by Sith cultists. The settlement had been turned into a Sith fortress. When he entered he found a Jedi battling a dark Jedi. He helped the Jedi defeat the dark Jedi and learned his name was Chuck. Chuck joined his cause to find Akari. They never found Akari in that fortress and knew that if they stayed that they would be outnumbered and overwhelmed. They then met Damian who had come from looking for Akari on Endor.

Transformers

Up to date as of February 05, 2010

From Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki

Artemis is an android in the Beast Wars II portion of the Generation One continuity family.
I wonder if she jingles when she walks.

Artemis is an gynoid stationed on the moon of Gaea alongside her partner, Moon. Artemis' job is to observe the war between Lio Convoy's Maximals and Galvatron's Predacons, gathering all the information she can. She is very flakey and ill-tempered, and occasionally takes her frustrations out on Moon with a big mallet.

She has a disturbing crush on both Scuba and Starscream, not quite sure which one she likes better.

Beast Wars II cartoon

Voice actress: Chieko Higuchi

From the beginning, Artemis and Moon watched over the Beast Wars on Gaea from their lunar sanctuary. At the end of each episode, Artemis would relate the information gathered from the episode, as well as the episode's "lesson" (and knowing is half the battle!) to the audience. She was rivals (from a distance) with the Seacon Scylla, who was also in love with Scuba.

Fighting with Moon by moonlight, losing at love by daylight.

In an out-of-continuity clip show where the characters interacted, Scuba and Starscream were pitted against each other in battle. Before finishing the battle they learned that the winner had to go on a date with Artemis. Rather then succumb to that fate, both enemies chose to end the match in a truce. Artemis took it in stride.

When Gaea came under immediate threat from Galvatron's Nemesis spacecraft, Artemis used all her power to help the Maximals. She and Moon finally made direct contact with the Transformers and helped them escape Gaea and reach the Nemesis. In the final battle, her moonbase was obliterated, though she and Moon survived.

Beast Wars Neo cartoon

After Unicron's defeat at the hands of Big Convoy, and the formation of an alliance between the Maximals and Predacons, Artemis and Moon somehow travelled to Cybertron.

After the summer festival, they'll play a keen game of shogi.

As Big Convoy and Magmatron's forces had one last brawl for old times' sake behind them, the Gaea androids participated in a giant cross-faction party under beautiful cherry blossoms. They shared a drink (tea? sake? oil?) with Bazooka, Crazybolt and Sharp Edge, while Apache and Cohrada slept peacefully nearby (possibly drunk).

Trivia

  • With Moon, Artemis appears as a secret character in the Japanese Gameboy Color cross-series Beast Wars fighting game.
  • Artemis and Moon are based on a Chinese legend about a lady and a Hindu legend about a rabbit who both live on Earth's Moon.
