Notes

These are the monsters you need to fight to get the Summoning of Arachnee spell from Aria Knofob.

Strategy

  • Keep track of the two main Arachnids, else the battle can take a long amount of time. Summons are now shown in smaller boxes so look for the big boxes to find the originals.
  • Killing the Arachnid will also kill everything it has summoned.
  • Use strong Area of effect spells, such as Striking, Temporal Dust, and other similar spells.
  • Spells that do not need LoS can be handy for when you are surrounded.

GTA

From Grand Theft Wiki

An Arachnid in GTA 2 (In-game, with lights).

The Arachnid is a car featured in Grand Theft Auto 2.

Description

The car is a two-door softtop coupe or convertible, more or less appearing as a mid-range two-door more suited for casual driving rather than for speedy travel. Bearing "Spider" as its internal name, the Arachnid's name is a play of "spider" or "spyder", alternate terms for a convertible roadster; "arachnid" is actually an umbrella term for joint-legged invertebrate animals that includes spiders. The car's has no clear source of inspiration, although the Alfa Romeo Spider is speculated.

In terms of performance, the Arachnid is a good starter vehicle primarily suited for travel from point A to point B (in fact, the car is offered to the player as they begin at the Residential District's Jesus Saves), but is not practical for chases or timed missions. The car possesses a relatively average top speed, although the car accelerates, steers and brakes better. When crushed, the car gives the player a Shotgun in the Residential District and a Machine Gun in the Industrial District.

A spider, possibly a Gaping spider.

A spider was a type of arachnid that was commonly found throughout the galaxy. Its familiarity led to its name being shared by plants, other creatures, and even droids and other technology that mimicked their form.

This character needs some sort of visual representation. If you have one, please replace this.

Arachnid is a Predacon mobile fortress from the Beast Wars portion of the Generation One continuity family.

The titanic Arachnid was designed by Tarantulas to function as a gigantic mobile fortress for the Predacon forces on Earth. Powerful, well-armed, and able to shoot webs to capture Maximals who attempt to flee before him. Tarantulas based its artificial intelligence on his own personality program. Not surprisingly then, Arachnid's rudimentary mind quite enjoys the cruelty of playing with his Maximal prey.

Toys

Microverse

  • Arachnid (Microverse playset, 1997)
Arachnid was released as part of the Microverse line, Hasbro’s miniatures line meant to compete with Galoob’s “Micro Machines” (before Hasbro’s purchase of Galoob). It transforms from a spider into a treaded base unit with a gun emplacement on a posable arm and gripper claws. Its abdomen opens up to reveal a landing strip and volcano-like hangar for two insectoid mini-vehicles. It came with two micro-figures, Megatron in his gator body and Razorbeast.
There are two variants; some use yellow plastic for the mini-vehicles and other accessories, while later releases use bright green plastic.
