This 1979 Anne Murray album was a Children's Television Workshop repackaging of her 1977 Canadian children's album "There's a Hippo in My Tub". Although the Sesame Street name/logo is part of the title, this album does not include songs from Sesame Street, and Anne Murray is not joined by any members of the cast.

This album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording for Children, but lost to The Muppet Movie soundtrack album.
