Angel Love worked as a roller-skating waitress at a restaurant in New York City. She was an aspiring artist who hoped to be successful in that field while also trying to find her true love. She counseled one of her friends who get pregnant with her boyfriend not to get an abortion. She stood up against a man she dated who was found snorting cocaine and told him to clean up his life before she departed from him. She helped her dying mother locate Mary Beth Love, who ran away from home when her father molested her and became a politican named Maureen McMeal, in order to save her life by donating compatible bone marrow.

Skilled artist. She occasionally draws a fairy godmother character who comes to life and gives her well-meaning, if usually useless, help in certain situations.
