Anesthizine is a gas that works as a fast-acting anesthetic drug. In 2379 when members of a rebel Klingon group Klahb attempted to take over the Federation Embassy on Qo'noS, Ambassador Worf was eventually able to subdue them by reactivating the security system and pumping anesthizine gas throughout the building. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)
