Alexei Smirnov (born January 28, 1982 in Tver, U.S.S.R.) is a Russian professional ice hockey player. He is a centre for Khimik Voskresensk in the Kontinental Hockey League.
Smirnov was drafted 12th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He played 52 games for the Mighty Ducks, scoring 3 goals and 3 assists in the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons.
He spent the 2004-05 season with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, 2005-06 with Avangard Omsk, and 2006-07 with the Long Beach Ice Dogs.
