The Adamant javelin is a member's only Ranged throwing weapon that is rarely used for combat. To wield one the player must have at least 30 Ranged. They can be obtained either by buying from the Ranging Guild, trading with another player or as a monster drop. The adamant javelin can be wielded with a shield or god book for protection.
These are sometimes used as junk in junk trades.
