Coronation Street history

• 1967 - Ena Sharples meets old acquaintance Henry Foster who confesses his guilt in taking a job from Alfred Sharples in the 1930s depression when Alfred was at his lowest ebb and who died soon after. Despite this past, Ena and Henry become good friends.
• 1996 - Tracy Barlow visits Ken and Deirdre and breaks the news that she's getting married.
• 1998 - Tony Horrocks is beaten up by some drug dealers he's been doing business with.
• 2002 - Vikram Desai starts to use Street Cars takings to feed his betting habit.
• 2005 - Sarah Platt and boyfriend Scooter Makuna split up.
• 2006 - Becky Granger returns to the Street when she joins Hayley Cropper's ex-offender's literacy class.
• 2009 - Joe McIntyre proposes to Gail Platt on his boat Gail Force, which is named after Gail. Gail accepts.
