1992 - First appearance of Lisa Horton. Terry Duckworth introduces Lisa to his parents Jack and Vera. They're shocked that Lisa is pregnant with Terry's baby.
1997 - Roy Cropper and Alma Baldwin come to an agreement over the sale of Jim's Cafe. Roy buys the cafe for £35,000.
2003 - Toyah Battersby leaves Weatherfield to go to London with Spider Nugent, having fallen out with her flatmate Maria Sutherland. This is Toyah and Spider's last appearances in the show.
2006 - First appearance of Becky Granger.
2007 - First appearance of Doreen Fenwick, an old friend of Rita Sullivan's.
