Coronation Street history

• 1975 - The out of control Marsh boys set fire to a storeroom in the Mark Brittain Warehouse.
• 1980 - Annie Walker gives an incredulous Bet Lynch some of her old dresses after all her things are stolen from her flat. Bet wears one of them back to front, creating a revealing plunging V-neckline.
• 1982 - Rita Fairclough hears that her Uncle Sam Littlewood has died.
• 1993 - Emily Bishop and Percy Sugden attend the wedding of Olive Clarke (who Percy wanted to marry himself) and Emily meets and becomes friends with the Rev. Bernard Morten.
• 1995 - Gordon Clegg returns to Weatherfield for the first time in thirteen years to meet his prospective step-father Billy Williams.
• 1997 - Rita Sullivan backs out of buying a B&B with Mavis Wilton in the Lake District. Alma Baldwin visits a dying Don Brennan in hospital and tells him that she forgives him for his past treatment of her.
• 1999 - Gary Mallett accuses the Duckworths, and Terry in particular, of causing Judy's death. Jack tells Terry he wishes that he'd been the one who died.
• 2002 - Richard Hillman identifies the body of a woman who has been fished out of the canal as that of his missing wife Patricia, whereas in reality she was buried under the foundations of The Ridings flats after he murdered her there.
• 2003 - Released from hospital, Katy Harris moves in with Martin Platt in his flat at 18a Victoria Street.
• 2008 - Jerry Morton, Kayleigh Morton and Finlay Bryant leave the Street for Spain. The police are called as the Websters report Rosie missing.
