1973 - Elsie Tanner is knocked down by a taxi in London, visting Dennis there in prison without the knowledge of anyone back home in Weatherfield.
1979 - While insulating Betty Turpin's loft, Eddie Yeats invites an ex-cellmate from Walton Jail into her house for a cup of tea. He repays the kindness by stealing a carriage clock of Betty's.
1994 - Reg Holdsworth begins working for Firman's Freezers.
1997 - In a sign of future developments, Jon Lindsay works at the airport Sox Shop while telling Deirdre Rachid that he's flown to Nairobi with his work as an airline pilot.
2001 - Jack and Vera Duckworth go to see a property that they've inherited from a deceased pigeon-fancier friend of Jack's, expecting a house but only to find that it is an old shed.
2003 - Fiz Brown punches Tracy Barlow to the floor of the Rovers for setting up Roy Cropper on a drugged-up one-night-stand.
2004 - Having paid off Frankie Baldwin's ex-boyfriend, Vinny Evans to drop the assault charge against Jamie, the family are dismayed to realise they now have no money and will have to remain in Coronation Street instead of moving to Chigwell.
2005 - Tracy Barlow sets up Steve McDonald on a charge of kidnapping their daughter Amy.
2008 - Molly Compton proposes to Tyrone Dobbs.
