Coronation Street history

  • 1973 - Stan and Hilda Ogden meet their son Trevor's family for the first time, as well as Damian, the grandson they never knew they had. They discover that Trevor told his wife Polly that his parents were dead.
  • 1982 - Tyrone Dobbs is born.
  • 1986 - At a Christmas party, Mike Baldwin discovers that Mark Redman is his son.
  • 1997 - Zoe Tattersall offers to sell her baby Shannon to Gary and Judy for £2,000. Gary refuses but Judy privately accepts.
  • 2006 - Cilla Battersby-Brown gets the all-clear at the hospital, resting her concerns that she has cancer. However, when she finds out her husband Les has been entertaining Yana Lumb, she tells him she does have terminal cancer.
  • 2007 - When Michelle Connor arrives at the house of her son Ryan's stalker to confront him, she discovers his son is the spitting image of her late husband Dean.
  • 2008 - Tony Gordon is questioned about his involvement in the murder of Liam Connor having been accused by Liam's widow Maria. He convinces the police he had nothing to do with it and Maria is just grieving. First appearance of Poppy Morales.
