Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.

0 was a malevolent entity from another dimension. Approximately two million years ago, a young Q encountered 0 after an encounter with the Guardian of Forever, and the two cosmic beings became traveling companions.

With Q's assistance, 0 used the Guardian of Forever to bring into the Universe the beings known as Gorgan, The One, and (*), and the group committed many atrocities, including the destruction of the Tkon Empire.

The Q Continuum eventually banished 0 beyond the galactic barrier, where he remained for half a million years.

In 2374, 0 manipulated Professor Lem Faal and the crew of the USS Enterprise-E into breaking through the galactic barrier, but was defeated once more by the combined efforts of Q and the Calamarain. (TNG novels: Q-Space, Q-Zone, Q-Strike)

The Count's organ disappears as he counts zero organs.

0 (zero) is a number in the Arabic Numeral System—the most widely used numeral system in the world. The number 0 represents the concept of nothing—an absence of all other values. Since 1986, 0 has been featured on Sesame Street as a sponsoring number, in songs and skits, and as the Number of the Day.[1] The earliest-known episode to be sponsored by 0 is Episode 2487.

The digit 0 once appeared in a skit where it was a drill sergeant, giving a roll call for the numbers 1 through 20. (EKA: Episode 0536)

The number 0 appeared as a Sesame Street Muppet in one scene of Episode 4142, voiced by Joey Mazzarino. In the scene, the number 0 feels badly about being the number that represents nothing, and Big Bird helps 0 feel better about itself.
